Hey everyone hope you've all had a great week! This week for me was just cold and and rainy. To really sum it up we had 1 lesson but got flogged so no lessons for the week, so we just knocked everyday. One of the days we tried by an older man that we found and said we could come back. When we walked inside his home I asked if he was able to read and he said "yeah.....and it's completely rubbish. It makes no sense" now this threw Elder King and I way off. We were so confused. He was telling us that it uses "ye, and it came to pass, and now behold" too much and the verses make no sense. He said he started to read it and it made no sense to him. He hated the book and we tried to tell him how it was translated by the power of God through the Prophet Joseph smith. He kept telling us that it made no sense and our church was a bunch of rubbish. 6 Week Review and Zone Conference  Hey Everyone! Hope you've had a good week. Thanks for all the emails, I'll try to get to all of them. We had Zone Conference this Monday so we had prep day today. Anyway today was a good week felt the spirit quite a bit, reset our finding methods and the outcome is looking good.  So first things first. I had my first driving lesson here in England and it is kind of stressful. I got the hang of it for the most part, but the streets here are so narrow I feel like I'm either going to hit the car or the wall. Oh and everything is opposite if you didn't already know. The drive on the left side of the road and right side of the car. Feels weird but I'm getting used to it. The pretty average for the most part up until the 6 week review for all the missionaries in my group. Cheers, Lads and Lasses! Hope you've all had a good week. I enjoy the emails I get so if you haven't already what are you doing send it! This week was pretty eventful. So we went on an exchange with the Dewsbury elders and I went with Elder kidd this time. We had such an amazing experience. We started off with a prayer to see what area we should knock once we narrowed it down to one place we prayed again for a street to knock. We came to the street Burnsall Road. When we got there it seemed like a pretty small street with about 20 or so houses to knock. Before we started we said a prayer for guidance by the spirit and then began knocking. We got 2 houses in and talked to a man for quite a bit it was a really good conversation and we both bore testimony to him and the spirit was super strong. Hey Everyone! Hope everyone had a good week. This week was good we had district finding which was fun and also it was Conference weekend which on the mission is like going to Disneyland for us missionaries.  So this past Wednesday we had a district council meeting and afterwards planned on doing a district finding in one of the sisters areas to help them find a friend. Our plan was to go into the city center and draw the Plan of Happiness with chalk and share it with the people walking through. Now let me just say this town center was so empty and just had a bunch of older people who were clearly not interested. One of the awkward parts about it was on the other side of the statue where we drew it up were two Jehovahs Witnesses glaring at us. They actually had some pedestrian walk over and see what we were drawing and report back. I thought that was kind of funny. They didn't move from their bench the whole time we were there too.
