United With The Members

Image
Hows it going everyone? Hope you've had a good week and if not well make this one a great one. The past week for me has been pretty good we were busy and our Zone conference turned out great.  We had lots of less active lessons and member lessons its was great. We had a good turn out with Zone conference as well lots of members joined but also a lot didnt. We focused heavy on how we are all missionaries some fulltime and some lifetime but we all have the same purpose! One thing that was mentioned really stood out to me. Elder Hurst, and area 70, talked about doing everything we can do experience the happiness of the Gospel. When our happiness is filled we won't be able to contain it and in turn we want to share it. I loved that idea and think it's so true.  We also got a few referrals this week and 2 of the responded which was great! We are looking forward to teaching them hopefully their solid. One is actually an excommunicated member so we wre hoping to really help her ou...

Slowing Down Time

Wow what a time to be a missionary. This week went by super slow for me. It may have to do with lessons falling through, tighter restrictions, and more time on our hands.  So not sure if I mentioned last time but I recieved a new companion named Elder Burt from New Zealand. This is his last transfer so I'm going to try to keep him alive his last 7 weeks. Nothing too special this past week though. I'm getting instagram here pretty soon so I'll be able to branch out a bit more and do more finding. One cool thing this week is our missionwide conference with all the members. I'm excited for it it will be a powerful event. As a Zone we will be brainstorming/creating a video this transfer which will be really fun and cool to do.  Spiritual thought:  "Pain does not automatically mean that happiness is gone and peace is destroyed. If we can realize the value of time in the growth of miracles, take the responsibility of adding drops of oil to our reservoirs daily, and keep ...

Transfers & Updates!

Sorry for the lack of emails lately it has not been my favorite transfer and some of the weeks have been pretty meh. This past week was probably one of the longest of my mission it sucked haha. We were able to have a bunch of lessons with some less active members which has been good.  This was the last week of the transfer which I have been ready for its been so long. Anyways we recieve transfer calls and I will be staying in South Shields getting a new companion named Elder Burt from New Zealand. This will be Elder Burt's last transfer so I will be finishing him off. This upcoming transfer will last 7 weeks and will be a unique one. We have the opportunity each transfer as missionaries to meet together and recieve trainings from our mission leaders. This transfer will be the first one where we invite all the lifetime member missionaries to join us full-time missionaries. It will be a powerful event and will really help us both work together to gather Israel.  We took a mighty...
