Week Late

How are y'all doing? This past week was the last of the transfer and it was pretty solid. We had lots of zone activites this week. For those who dont know our Zone was doing this thing called "The Bake-Te Amohanga Games" where we get points based on the lessons we have and other challenges. Our district was in the lead by a landslide so to make it more fair they Thanos snapped everyone's points and so we all started from 0. Lemme tell ya our district was not phased and we smashed it! We had some fun pumpkin carving as well so that was great.  A highlight for this week was going to church hands down. First time back to church in 7 months and wow it felt soo good. We had about 30 people there and had amazing talks. The spirit was so strong and partaking of the sacrament was fantastic. I'm so grateful for church and the joy it can bring as we enter into it.  Elder Menzel and I have been doing great and have had a great 1st transfer. Since I'm training the lad we ...

Another Week Down And Last Week Of The Transfer To Go

Hey all what's going on? This was a good week. Had my written driver's test, went on exchanges, prepared/had a mission wide fast, service, and lessons. We should be hearing some guidelines for country in regards to covid tonight so we will see what happens. I personally think nothing will or it'll  get tighter. The cases are in the 12,000s so that's fun.  I passed my theory test this week which I'm relieved so now I need to take my practical test for driving so I can get my british licence. Itll be interesting hopefully I can get a lesson booked soon.  Our mission fasted for the missionaries in our mission to become "an Enoch people" where we are following the will of the Lord completely and faithfully. By doing so we have faith that miracles will abound and the veil will be very thin. We of course dont expect to be taken up into heaven like the people of enoch but hope to see great things come about.  We had a lesson with this man in our ward named Robert...

Hi there, we currently have Elder Jones serving in our ward. I wanted to tell you what a wonderful young man he is. He never seems to stop smiling and is happy to do whatever is needed. Our son is serving a mission too now and Elder Jones helped him prepare for going into the mission field. We feel very blessed to know him and to be able to associate with him. You should be very proud (which I am sure you are) of what he is doing. He really is changing lives and touching people’s hearts. I just wanted you to know, Rebecca x

New Missionaries And A Spiritual Boost

What a great week! I hope the week was good for you all like it was for me. General Conference was fantastic and enjoyed all of the wonderful talks given. The Spirit was powerful and I really felt the divine power of Gods love for his children. Our mission President told us on a zoom meeting the day before conference that this will be one of the only times in our lives where we will be completely sanctified watching General Conference. I never really realized that I only get 4 General Conferences where I am completely set apart and pure from worldly distractions. Being a missionary during this time is a huge blessing!  I would explain and share with you all of my thoughts about conference but I won't. I would love to hear your own thoughts and impressions during this past conference. So please email me and let me know!  As for the week it was alright. A lot of our friends were unable to meet but that gave us more time to figure out Facebook. It really is hard to be creative an...
