Week Late
How are y'all doing? This past week was the last of the transfer and it was pretty solid. We had lots of zone activites this week. For those who dont know our Zone was doing this thing called "The Bake-Te Amohanga Games" where we get points based on the lessons we have and other challenges. Our district was in the lead by a landslide so to make it more fair they Thanos snapped everyone's points and so we all started from 0. Lemme tell ya our district was not phased and we smashed it! We had some fun pumpkin carving as well so that was great.
A highlight for this week was going to church hands down. First time back to church in 7 months and wow it felt soo good. We had about 30 people there and had amazing talks. The spirit was so strong and partaking of the sacrament was fantastic. I'm so grateful for church and the joy it can bring as we enter into it.
Elder Menzel and I have been doing great and have had a great 1st transfer. Since I'm training the lad we were most likely staying together and we are. Transfers came and 2 sisters are leaving the district. It is sad to see them go but looking forward to this coming transfer.
Also just little sidenote. I'm not sure if I mentioned to you all but our Bishop is a Chiropractic and he gives us free chiropractic care. It has been blessing me this whole transfer and I highly recommend going to the chiropractor for an adjustment. Also thought I would flex a little just like my boy Alex haha just kidding love ya bro.
Spiritual thought:
3 Nephi 20:8-9
"8 And he said unto them: He that eateth this bread eateth of my body to his soul; and he that drinketh of this wine drinketh of my blood to his soul; and his soul shall never hunger nor thirst, but shall be filled.
9 Now, when the multitude had all eaten and drunk, behold, they were filled with the Spirit; and they did cry out with one voice, and gave glory to Jesus, whom they both saw and heard."
I felt that this scripture was applicable this week because we had the chance to go to church again. The sacrament is such an important thing in our lives and it really does quench and feed the soul. I have felt so much peace and love of our Savior.
Thank you for all the love and support it reall means a lot. Good luck to my cousin Mike entering into the mission field. You're gonna kill it! Love you all!
