Slowing Down Time
Wow what a time to be a missionary. This week went by super slow for me. It may have to do with lessons falling through, tighter restrictions, and more time on our hands.
So not sure if I mentioned last time but I recieved a new companion named Elder Burt from New Zealand. This is his last transfer so I'm going to try to keep him alive his last 7 weeks. Nothing too special this past week though. I'm getting instagram here pretty soon so I'll be able to branch out a bit more and do more finding.
One cool thing this week is our missionwide conference with all the members. I'm excited for it it will be a powerful event. As a Zone we will be brainstorming/creating a video this transfer which will be really fun and cool to do.
Spiritual thought:
"Pain does not automatically mean that happiness is gone and peace is destroyed. If we can realize the value of time in the growth of miracles, take the responsibility of adding drops of oil to our reservoirs daily, and keep our eyes on the goal, having faith that the Lord will reward our efforts, then peace can be restored and miracles will occur." -Art E. Berg
Miracles take time and require our own efforts as well. When we prepare ourselves each day and "add the oil to our lamps" we can begin to have our pain and worries lifted and happiness can flow in.
Sorry for the lack of detail I wish I could give you all more. Thank you all for the support and prayers, and I hope you all have a fantastic week!
