Living It Up In Leeds

Hey hey everyone hope all is well! Sorry for no email last week. Lots of changes and new beginnings. I'm currently in Leeds and this past week we had mission Conference and Zone Conference in which the Zone leadership would have to give a training for their Zone.

The focus for Zone conference was on finding with faith. For our training we related it to Finding Nemo and used the scene in finding nemo where marlin and dory took the EAC(East Australian Current) to get to Nemo. We used the EAC to mean (Exact Obedience, All Diligence, Christ centered focus) and as we do this as missionaries we can be led to our friends. We thought it went well.

Leeds is great we are working with a few people a lot are busy so I haven't been able to meet them yet. Luckily, we received a referral for a Romanian guy who wanted to involve his cousin in a bible study with us. His name is Vijay and he came to church and liked it. We are excited to work with him and hopefully his family will be interested as well. He has 4 children at the moment and a wife. Prayers for Vijay would be highly appreciated.

Other than that, not a whole lot has happened. We only have 3 weeks left in the transfer which is crazy how fast time has gone. As a Zone we made a goal to make 47 new friends and we've made 7 so far so prayers for us to find our brothers and sisters would be appreciated as well.

Spiritual thought:

I've been watching this guy named Simon Senek who has taught me a lot of good insights and one thing I've gotten from him is that there's 2 types of people. The people that see the thing they want and the people that see the thing that prevents them from what they want. I thought that was interesting. Let's try to be the people that see the thing they want because those kinds of people will do anything to get and achieve their goals. Those people are passionate and that's how we should be especially when we relate this to the gospel. I love this idea.

Anyways hope you have a great week and thank you for the support and prayers. Love you all!
