The Week Zoomed By Literally And Virtually!
Hey everyone hows it going? This week flew by wow. We had some lessons, meetings, and some warm weather. Yes that's right it's getting warmer.
This past week we had a bunch of less active phone calls and we read the book of Mormon with them. We also had a really good lesson with our friend Barbara who was excommunicated, but is looking to come back. We asked her in the lesson if baptism is something she wants and she said yes! Now I know this isn't a convert baptism, but it is a baptism and anyone making a decision to come closer to christ is a win for me. Makes me happy that she is feeling the spirit strongly and the ward is great with her because and since they already know her it's much easier to teach with them in the lessons.
Our friend Liz is doing good as well. We have learned some more things about the way she studies so we have helped her with that. Hopefully as time moves on she can better live the Gospel so please pray that her desire will increase!
Some news for England! Well I actually dont know the specifics, but Boris Johnson the prime minister is addressing the country in regards to the lockdown being lifted. They will take extra precautions when it comes to opening things up. I believe what they talked about is opening schools up first which I dont know why they would do that. It seems like the perfect breeding group/super spreader.
Spiritual thought:
So no scripture today but I wanted to talk about what my mission President mentioned to us missionaries on a Facebook live that can be applicable. President Green was talking about the many stages of our missions and our motivation levels. He was talking about the ones on the tail ends of their missions and didnt understand why they would stop giving it there all at the 15th month (for sisters) or 21 month (for elders) marks. You dont see a marathon runner training for a race then just stopping at the 22nd mile saying "well I did a good job and I got pretty far let's go back". No, that's not what they do and neither should we. As people and members we should continually be pushing forward because we are all in the same race. The Lord expects finishers and we can all help each other along the way!
That's all I got for this week thank you for the support and prayers hope you have a superb week! Love you all!
