Bit Chilly And Some Updates
Hey hey everyone hope you've all had a great week! Sorry for the lack of emails lately I really have no excuse. Yes, I'm fine nothing is wrong. England is still in a lock down unfortunately but on the bright side cases are going down a lot.
This week was pretty good we had a few lessons with some less actives and our friends. We are teaching an excommunicated member named Barbara who is awesome. She really wants to go to the temple some day and I think she will she has been able to feel the spirit so strongly and we are involving the members in on the lessons so things are great. Our friend Liz is doing great as well she is slowly coming to understand the spirit and said that she would be baptized if she knew it to be true so we are praying that she receives a witness she can recognize.
Quick update on the mission. So, we recently had to have some missionaries return home early from their missions due to travel implications. We are also losing more missionaries each and every transfer and not receiving any so it's been a crazy time in our mission. We are about 80-90 missionaries here in a few weeks. Luckily, we have received 5-6 missionaries from the states. We are praying for more missionaries and miracles to abound and would really appreciate it if you could too.
It snowed the past couple weeks as well which is very rare especially on the coast so it was cool to see that, but also very chilly. The ward has gotten us takeaways as well which is so nice can't complain there.
Spiritual thought:
I have a quote from Elder Uchtdorf one of the past conferences titled "Your Great Adventure"
"Even when you fail, you can choose not to give up, but rather discover your courage, press forward, and rise up. That is the great test of the journey.
God knows that you are not perfect, that you will fail at times. God loves you no less when you struggle than when you triumph."
Never quit even when you want to. I have had loads of times where I wanted to give up, but somehow, I've been able to push through it. I know it's because of Christ's atonement I've been able to handle this pandemic and the situations I've been placed in. GOD LOVES YOU NO MATTER WHAT!
That's all I have for this week have a fantastico week and I'll catch you next time!
