Transfers!

Sorry for no email last week there wasn't a whole lot to talk about. This week was great though. We managed to do some service, lessons, and meetings. We also received transfers so that's exciting.

I loved our Prophet's broadcast to the world. Showing gratitude is just what we need in a time of confusion, hardship, and sorrow. One miracle I've seen from taking on his invitations is an opportunity to give a book of Mormon to one of the ladies we are doing service for. She commented on my post about being grateful for the scriptures and asked for a Book of Mormon! We've been doing service for her for about 4 months and haven't really tried to preach to her (she would ask questions and we would answer but never tried to bring up teaching her). I have felt so much Joy seeing all of the wonderful things people are grateful for it's amazing.

No huge update with our friends. Slowly getting there with them so please pray for Tanya, Mary, John, and Amanda. We did a mission prep class for some of the youth in Meltham/Halifax. We didn't get the best turn out but it was good to help some of the youth. Last night we recieve transfer calls. They will be merging Halifax and Meltham and 3 missionaries will be covering it. My companion Elder Menzel and the Meltham Elders. I'm headed up north to a place called South Shields right on the coast so I'm stoked for that. Our mission has and is losing a lot of missionaries this next week we will be at 121. We are dwindling in numbers so that means a lot of missionaries will be covering 2 areas. A lot of the load is being put on our shoulders til we recieve more missionaries. Please pray that we can receive more!

Spiritual  thought:

I want to share a well know verse in the Book of Mormon Ether 12:6

"6 And now, I, Moroni, would speak somewhat concerning these things; I would show unto the world that faith is things which are hoped for and not seen; wherefore, dispute not because ye see not, for ye receive no witness until after the trial of your faith."

A lot of times we think that if we believe and have faith that we should see the blessing or miracle as a result, but faith is much more than that. Faith leads to action and when we act in faith and go forward in our trials then will we see the miracle. This is just like Nephi when he was going to get the plates from the wicked Laban 1 Nephi 4:6-8

"6 And I was led by the Spirit, NOT  KNOWING BEFOREHAND the things which I should do.
7 NEVERTHELESS I WENT FORTH, and as I came near unto the house of Laban I beheld a man, and he had fallen to the earth before me, for he was drunken with wine.
8 And when I came to him I found that it was Laban."

Thank you all for the support and I hope you have a fantastico week this week. Love you all!
