Productive Week

What's going on everyone hope its been a good week! This week has been pretty generic. We have had lesson with members and our friends. Elder Menzel and I created a Ward Mission plan and we've been working to get that out to the members. 

The 4 man flat has been fun and I think it has helped the other Elders out a lot. Weve been working on a facebook video so hopefully we can get that done this week. 

We had 2 lessons with Tanya this week and we've seen some progress. The first lesson she was expressing her concerns about Joseph Smith and we were kind of discouraged about it. We thought she was making good progress and then she hit this roadblock again. The second lesson we had went really well. We read parts of "Saints" with her and helped her with different points about polygamy. During the lesson we could tell the spirit working with her. She is slowly softening her heart and I can tell she knows the Book of Mormon is true she just cant admit that Joseph was a prophet yey. Please pray for her to see the light and truth of Joseph Smith. 

Funny: So we've been working with this funny less active named Duncan Craig. Duncan has a few mental learning disabilities and he has mood swings. He loves us missionaries and knows the church is true but also cant ket go of his other church either. Anyways this last Sunday we invite him to the zoon church service for sunday school and send him the link. So about 30 minutes into the lesson Duncan joins and at this point we didn't know he joined. Then the teacher asks a question for the class and there's a silence for 4 seconds. Then out of no where Duncan blurts out announcing to the world that he's the one talking. He says he knows it's a testimony meeting and then proceeds to bear his testimony (even though it's not a testimony meeting). Right after he closes his testimony he leaves. Elder Menzel and I were cringing and laughing its was so funny. 

Spiritual thought: 

Ether 4:11

"11 But he that believeth these things which I have spoken, him will I visit with the manifestations of my Spirit, and he shall know and bear record. For because of my Spirit he shall know that these things are true; for it persuadeth men to do good."

The Book of Mormon is true. For all my friends who struggle with a testimony or don't know if the Book of Mormon is true I want to invite you to sincerely read the book. If you desire to know if it's TRUE and if it's from God study it and pray about it. You will get an answer if you are patient and earnest in your efforts.
