Moved Out And Locked Down

What's going on everyone? Hope you're all staying safe and doing well. This week has been quite eventful. We've moved in with some Elders in Meltham which is my first area! We have gone into a national lockdown which is fun too.

So we packed all of our stuff Wednesday night and moved to Meltham before lockdown on Thursday. It was so weird to see all the old places I've been. It's been almost a year so it was bit nostalgic. The flat is big enough for the 4 of us. We have 2 showers and enough room for our stuff. It's not the most spacious but we aren't crammed which is nice.

We had a really good lesson this week with our friend Tanya. We talked about seeking Christ in every thought and how we can overcome stumbling blocks in our lives. This is especially important for her thoughts and concerns. We have seen a huge change in her and she has said she is starting to feel less and less concerned or worried so prayers would be much appreciated. I gave a talk during Sacrament zoom and it turned out pretty good. Tanya was able to watch the live and she really enjoyed it.

We also had a fun cook along with a member in the ward her name is Patsy. We totally forgot to take a picture of it but it was really good I will send one next week if I remember haha.

Lockdown here in England should last up til the transfer December 2nd, but we will see. Pretty much we cant meet with people inside or outside and all nonessential shops are closed. So more inside time for us. Service is very limited now so that's a shame nevertheless we are prepared and have already gone through it so it's all good.

Spiritual thought:

Mormon 9:19-21

"19 And if there were miracles wrought then, why has God ceased to be a God of miracles and yet be an unchangeable Being? And behold, I say unto you he changeth not; if so he would cease to be God; and he ceaseth not to be God, and is a God of miracles.
20 And the reason why he ceaseth to do miracles among the children of men is because that they dwindle in unbelief, and depart from the right way, and know not the God in whom they should trust.
21 Behold, I say unto you that whoso believeth in Christ, doubting nothing, whatsoever he shall ask the Father in the name of Christ it shall be granted him; and this promise is unto all, even unto the ends of the earth."

Miracles will abound if we do the things we are supposed to. I know God will help us through it.

Thank you for all the support and prayers. Stay safe and talk to you next week! Feel free to email if you have a chance too I'd love to hear from you, love y'all.
