Transfers And Responsibilities
Hey everyone how are you all doing? These past two weeks have been fairly good. We had transfers and it turns out I'll be staying and given some responsibilities to train and lead a district. It feels a bit overwhelming and wasn't too thrilled but excited to grow and stretch from this experience.
So no real big updates on our friends we are slowly working to meet with friends in person and over call. I would love if you could include them in your prayers if you could. There names are: Mary, Corrie, Amanda, Tanya, and Jon. If you could pray for them to have spiritual experiences as well that would be much appreciated.
Weve also had a ton of service as well which is always great and it breaks up the day. I think we have built some really good relationships with these people and it could eventually lead to sharing things about the Gospel a bit more. I pray that they may have there hearts open and guided by the spirit.
We met up with some other Elders and played some spikeball and football as well. Not going to lie my football skills are improving. Now instead of looking like a baby giraffe I look like a waterboy for the school team so that's nice.
Overall it has been good and we have exceed 6 months in quarantine officially so that's nuts. The cases here are rising so we may see more restrictions.
Spiritual thought:
Just wanted to share a scripture with you all to encourage missionary work cause that's what it's all about! This is in D&C 18 and it reads:
"15 And if it so be that you should labor all your days in crying repentance unto this people, and bring, save it be one soul unto me, how great shall be your joy with him in the kingdom of my Father!
16 And now, if your joy will be great with one soul that you have brought unto me into the kingdom of my Father, how great will be your joy if you should bring many souls unto me!"
We can recieve so much joy as we share the Gospel and invite others unto Christ. Now it doesn't have to be anything crazy, but try it this week pray for a missionary experience to help our brothers and sisters come to a knowledge of the truth.
Thank you all for the prayers and support! I'm sorry for the lack of emails I've been lazy that's my bad. Anyways if you have time feel free to email I'd love to hear from you! Have a great week!
