Still Going Strong

Hello my quarantined people! How is the staying inside life treating you all? I cant say I'm enjoying my time stuck in my flat, but it does offer some times to deeply study, ponder, and pray. I know there's a reason for all of this and I have faith things will turn out eventually.

I can't believe this time I have to be a missionary, and I'm truly grateful the Lord has blessed me when being able to stay here in England during this pandemic. It is so weird and sad to know that most of my friends have returned home and been released. Just want to let them know I pray for them and hope they cant adjust well  while in this weird stage in life. I'm grateful for the services they rendered and I know God will guide them to where they need to be. 

As for me these past 2 weeks have been pretty boring as youd expect. I've decided that I want to read the Old testament. I think I'll be here for a while so I might get to finish it haha. Luckily Elder Pombo and I were able to watch conference as well. If you didn't know our flat has the worst service ever, but the Assistants helped us out and got us a little wifi booster and it helps a little bit enough for us to do simple things. We really enjoyed conference and loved that we recieved another Proclamation! Looks like I'll be memorizing that in quarantine. The Proclamatuom has solidified my testimony on the Restoration of the Gospel of Jesus Christ and the Prophet Joseph Smith. Oh I am so grateful for these latter days and the opportunity I get to be apart of this great and last dispensation. 

During my studies leading to conference I was studying the saints book, and the gospel principles book. Both times in my studies I came across the Restoration of the Priesthood, more specifically with the keys from the Prophet Elijah. At this time the Prophet Jospeh Smith and Oliver Cowdry knelt in prayer in the Kirtland temple. When they arose from therr prayer they recieved 3 visions of the Prophet Moses, Elias, and Elijah restoring all keys for this final dispensation. Elijah coming to the earth was so important because of 2 things. 

#1 It was prophesy by the Prophet Malachi given as a sign of the second coming of Jesus Christ

#2 The Keys restored were the sealing keys that enables ordinances performed on earth to be bound in Heaven. 

I heard a lot about restored priesthood keys and authority specifically about this experience during conference. I am truly grateful that we are capable of being sealed as a family for eternity and to be together forever I'm grateful for this great ongoing restoration and the knowledge I have of the Book of Mormon. It truly testifies of Christ's  reality and can bring all sincere people to him.
