Exchangarooski

Hello Everyone! Hope you're week was grand. Congrats to my cousin Hayden for getting his call to Madrid, Spain. Yo that's going to be so sick you'll be great. This week was pretty solid. Training has been going good. Trying my best so hopefully he will turn out alright. No updates with our friends at the moment just taught Julian again. Looking to put him on date soon, so if you could pray for a spiritual experience for Julian that would be great. We went on exchanges with our Zone Leaders I went with Elder Hadfield the new Zone leader.

So our exchange was so fun and I was in TUNE. We made our way to Peterborough Thursday night and left Friday evening. Our zone is trying to rebuild the missionaries by going back to the basics and doing the small and simple things. We did just that. Elder Hadfield and I were planning to teach a lesson at noon so we had about 30-40 min to go street contacting. The first people we saw we went up to them and started chatting them up about the area. 2 of them were from Latvia and the other from Portugal. She wasn't really bothered with relgion but believed in God. We asked who she thought might he intrested and point down the street to a corner hair salon and said that this Brazilian lady would be interested. So we decided to walk down the the Salon and walk in. The Brazilians name was Luciara and she loved to talk and said she used to live by the Church and meet with Elders. We were able to set up a return appointment with her and her daughter. We were so chuffed. For later I  the day we planned for knocking. I had an impression to go to a place called Crowland so that's exactly where we went. It was raining as you'd expect and we notice this older lady hosing down her driveway in the rain as you do. We go over to her and ask her what she was doing. She was actually cleaning off dog poop so yeah. We got talking to her and she said that her husband use to be a member but went off the rails and abused her. She is terrified of him and was nervous to learn more about the church because of him so we left her a card with our number and left. I felt so bad, but looking back at it I know the Lord prompted me to that area to meet her. I hope she will be able to reach out to the Elders sooner rather than later. 

The whole day I was feeling the spirit and after the exchange we had a tea appointment in our area so we went to that. We asked if they needed anything and they said no so we left them with a prayer and right after it the member asked me for a blessing. It was such a spiritual experience. I am so grateful for the Priesthood and the authority I have to serve those around me. It is so great to be a missionary!
