RIP KOBE

Hello family and friends! Hope you've had a wonderful week! This week was a generic one we did a bunch of finding and missionary work as usual haha.

One person we are working with at the moment is on a baptismal date and her name is Grace. She has been in n out of the hospital with health issues so getting to church was an issue and we keep having to push her date back. She needs to attend church 2 times in a row to be baptized. So this past week we hadn't seen her in a while cause she was in the hospital, but we stopped by her house and she's doing better. She finally got her licence and a car so getting to church is no problem now. We set up this weeks lessons with her so it should be good. She told us that while she was reading the Word of Wisdom pamphlet we assigned her to read she started to cry and feel the spirit. We were so chuffed (happy) when she told us this. Unfortunately this past Sunday she didn't make it to church because something came up but we are working with her through this. Prayers would be much appreciated!

Work this week has been tough though. Elder Kidd and I are tired and exhausted every day. We are praying and looking for a prepared family slowly but surely. We are having a playgroup at our chapel every week so hopefully we can find families that way. This transfer has blown by so quick. We are coming up on the 4th week. Crazy how time flies just about a quick of my mission gone. I feel like I have so much to learn in so little of time, so I've got to make the most of it.

Spiritual thought:

Alma 26:37

"37 Now my brethren, we see that God is mindful of every people, whatsoever land they may be in; yea, he numbereth his people, and his bowels of mercy are over all the earth. Now this is my joy, and my great thanksgiving; yea, and I will give thanks unto my God forever. Amen."

Our Father in heaven is mindful of all of us and knows us individually. He wants to hear from us. Let us pray to him. He will answer prayers. It may not be as soon as you want but he will. Patience and Obedience is essential. He knows all of our needs and wants to help us all we need to do is ask.

Also want to say RIP to Kobe and his daughter. They will be missed but never forgotten. Such a sad time he was such a big influence in the world. He was the name people shouted after every shot into the garbage can. He made such a mark on the world.

-"Heros are remembered, but legends never die."

Hope you all have a wonderful week! May you have the spirit to be with you always. Thanks for the support and prayers love you all!
