Exchangarooski And Some Stake Finding

Hello my friends and family! Hope you've all had a wonderful week. This week was pretty mellow for the most part. We went on exchange and had stake finding this week.

So exchange was fun this week. We have a new district leader Elder Stewart (he's the one next to me in the picture). We stopped by a person they were teaching his name was Martin. Then afterwards we had a district comp study. Elder Stewart had a couple fun activites. He wanted to work on our presentation skills so one of my favorite ones we did is we were given a random object and a gospel topic and had to relate it in a inspiring speech kind of way. We did all of this over motivation music as well it was so funny. We later in the day had lunch and went knocking on some doors. Nothing exciting after that.

On Saturday though we had Stake Finding in Huddersfield. We set up a table with a sign that said free gift wrapping and we sang Carol's. I was passing out Light the World cards and this was my first time doing proper street contacting so I was really inexperienced when it came to it. One guy started to park his bike next to the bin I was by and I was hesitant at first but offered him a card and asked him "what made him the most happy during the christmas season?" He started kind of going off on all the people who didn't celebrate because of Christs birth. He ended up being a 7 day Aventis and I was able to give him a Book of Mormon and I explained how it goes a long with the bible and it is another testament of Jesus Christ. He was curious to read it so he took it and said he would. It was a good exchange of words. I really enjoyed the contacting on Saturday it helped me even though I was nervous I'm glad I got some practice in.

Anyways that's all I have for this week. The Christmas season is upon us its going to be such an amazing one. Hope you all have a good week. Thanks for all the emails, prayers, and support. I'll try my best to get to you! Love y'all!
