Knocking In The Rain Is Not As Fun As Singing In The Rain
Hey everyone hope you've all had a good week. This email is going to be pretty short nothing to exciting this week.
So this past week we just had a bunch of doors to knock. It was rainy everyday, and its getting in the 30's so that's exciting. Wind, Rain, and Cold temperatures are just the best. People aren't really bothered and dont really answer the door, but we are still keeping it going.
We finally have a ward mission leader which is awesome. He really wants to get members involved in missionary work so it's not just us and him trying to do everything. Hes going to be a super solid leader I can already tell.
We did some garden work for a single mom in our ward. We trimmed her overgrown hedges and bagged them up to send to the tip( the dump ). England is getting a very cold winter this year so my hands were kind of cold until I started using the gas trimmer.
Spiritual: I just want to share a simple, but powerful and true scripture with you guys. It's in Alma 36:3 and it reads:
"And now, O my son Helaman, behold, thou art in thy youth, and therefore, I beseech of thee that thou wilt hear my words and learn of me; for I do know that whosoever shall put their trust in God shall be supported in their trials, and their troubles, and their afflictions, and shall be lifted up at the last day"
I really like this and have a strong testimony that if you trust in God things will work out how they're supposed and you can get through the difficult times.
Sorry again just a normal average week nothing much to it. Thanks for all the emails I'm sorry if I didn't get to them I'll try next monday! Have an Amazing week!
