Hello everyone, hope your week was good! My week was pretty alright. I was sick earlier in the week but we had Zone conference which was amazing. We made some new friends and got to teach some people. Leicester is a great area and a breath of fresh air.

Tuesday and Wednesday we were in the flat most of the day because I was a bit sick and my companion said we are not going out when you sound like that so we thought we should clean up the flat a bit and study. During that time inside we got a call from someone we texted from the old paper area book and he said he wanted to learn more. We ended up making 3 friends and 1 potential this week even though we were in two of the days and Zone Confrence the other day.

Zone Conference was soo good this week. We focused on a BYU devotional by Elder Bednar titled "In the Strength of the Lord". Elder Bednar discusses the redeeming power of the Atonement and the enabling power of the Atonement. He quotes “The purpose of the gospel is . . . to make bad men good and good men better, and to change human nature”  he tells us that the Atonement is for everyone not just those who sin but all people. We can draw power from it and use it to get through our struggles and trials. Another thing I enjoyed from Confrence is the focus on families and member work. It's not just the missionaries job to gather Zion but everyone's responsibility to be apart of this great work. We can strengthen the church with families and that we should be using our strengths to help us.

Other than that we had a good solid rest of the week. We are starting to get a little bit of a teaching pool which will be great and good practice in teaching a lesson cause believe it or not I've never had a proper lesson until moving here. Slowly but surely we will have a baptism in the coming weeks so stah tuned. That's all I have this week. Shoot me an email if you have time I love reading them. Have a wonderful week!
